Linear Regression Plot

The Linear Regression Plot is a dual scatter plot of both data points and linear regression lines.

Plus signs

Plus (+) signs represent actual data points

Green plus signs represent the lab versus standard concentration data

Blue plus signs represent the lab versus group data

Triangles

Triangles represent means or standard concentrations.

Red triangles along the y-axis represent lab means

Blue triangles along the x-axis represent group means

Green triangles along the x-axis represent standard concentrations

Lines

Green lines represent the lab versus standard concentration data

Blue lines represent the lab versus group data

Dashed lines represent your specified tolerance limits

The dashed lines parallel to both axes are a measure of linearity and provide a quick visual representation of the linearity of the lines. A line with perfect slope (1.0) and intercept (0) would intersect the right angles of each line.
