Changing the Plot Options

The Default Linear Regression Plot Options section of the Preferences tab provides drop-down lists with choices that determine the appearance of your plots.

The first drop-down list allows you to select one of the following:

o

Draw Lab Line vs. Group Line

Select this option if you want to compare your laboratory data to the group data only.

o

Draw Lab Line vs. Standard Concentration Line (Std Conc. Line)

Select this option if you want to compare your laboratory data to the standard concentration line only.

o

Draw Both Lines.

Select this option if you want to compare your laboratory data to both the group data and the standard concentration line.

The second drop-down list allows you to choose whether or not grid lines appear on the plot. (Grid lines may help you view your data plotted on the graph.)

The third drop-down list allows you to choose whether or not to include the ideal line on the plot.

The fourth drop-down list allows you to choose not to draw tolerance lines, or to select tolerance lines from one to fifteen percent.

When your selections are complete, click Change Default Plot Options to save your changes to the current worksheet or Apply Default Options to All Worksheets to apply these options to all worksheets within the selected lab.
